Three partnership tracks
Strategic investors
Co-finance processing infrastructure and collection networks across Mongolia’s 21 aimags. Government-backed return frameworks and priority offtake agreements on recovered lithium and cobalt.
Technology partners
License or transfer hydrometallurgical and battery-grading technology to Mongolian processing facilities. Joint R&D pathways available for university and private-sector technology holders.
Policy advisors
Shape national EPR regulations, collection mandates, and mineral recovery standards alongside Mongolia’s Ministry of Environment. Representation on the MCBI Advisory Council included.
Applications close 30 June 2025
Selected partners gain priority access to recovered mineral offtake agreements, co-branding across the MCBI network, and a seat on the initiative’s advisory council. Cohort size is limited to 12 strategic partners.
